Hello,

I am the owner of Villa Prana. I have lived in Phuket with my British husband since 1997.   My ‘day job’ is running  my own bookshop which is just a couple of minutes from the villa so I am always close by and will do everything possible to ensure that you have a really wonderful stay.

Villa Prana was built in 2007 and upgraded and completely refurnished and equipped in January 2012.

We have tried to present an honest and realistic impression of the villa on this website so as to give you a really good and clear idea of what the property has to offer.  We have not gone ‘over the top’ with our descriptions as we don’t want you to be disappointed on arrival – we know how important and precious holiday time is to most people.

Unless you rent a self drive car you will need transportation to get around so we offer a Car and Driver at reduced rates. See the Rates page. There is not really a formal taxi network in Phuket such as you will find in most towns or cities in your home country but there are plenty of small or one man car and driver services that you can call.  So we loan you with a cell phone with a local SIM card without charge, programmed with the telephone numbers of half a dozen such services that we have found to be reliable.  The cell phone also contains the number of just about every other local service that you might require and we can provide additional cell phones at a small extra cost which might be particularly useful for families.

After 14 years here we are pleased to offer you unbiased advice on what to do and where to go in Phuket. Phuket has an enormously varied range of activities to offer but just like every where in the world some of those services are far better than others.  Please see the Activities page for our personal favorites.
